DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing tax technology automation ensuring the integration of all current and future tax technology software (SAP, Sabrix, CorpTax, PowerPlant, etc.) across all finance modules including fixed assets (tax depreciation), project systems, non-freight billing (e.g., joint facilities) and accounts payable.
This position requires broad-based thinking and cross–functional coordination across several functional business groups.
Duties include end to end process design, build, controls, testing, communications, and detailed cutover plans.
This position will also have responsibility for assisting with small enhancements and maintenance efforts related to the current SAP environment.
Duties include supporting the business process owner (Tax Department) and the SAP Support Center on issues related to various areas of tax including sales/use, income, and property tax.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A qualified person must have integral knowledge with SAP and 3rd Party Tax Software (preferably Sabrix).
The preferred candidate must also possess experience working directly on SAP integration projects that included knowledge of all SAP finance (FI) modules, material management (MM) module, sales and distribution (SD) module and the plant maintenance (PM) module.
The preferred candidate must also possess a background in a tax compliance discipline, preferably transaction tax related.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science or related field is required.
A Master's degree is preferred.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years of ERP integration experience, specifically with the SAP platform.
